Zonta Club of New York Awards

To empower young women and girls, Zonta Club of New York offers a variety of awards to students. See below for more information about the Awards available from the Club level and the requirements to apply.

Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award

This Award recognizes young women, ages 16-19, who demonstrate leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes. The program operates at the Zonta Club, District and International levels. The first step is to apply at Club Level (in this case Zonta Club of New York) where the winning applicant is eligible for an award of $500.  The Club level winner is then referred to the local District, and in turn each District may submit one applicant for consideration for an international award. At this time Zonta International offers 37 international awards of US $5,000.

The 2025 application deadline for Zonta Club NYC was March 10. Please check back in late 2025/ early 2026  for the 2026 application. Award applicants can send a completed application form or direct questions to the Scholarship Committee, Zonta Club of New York at: secretary@zontaclubnyc.org and president@zontaclubnyc.org.

Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award

This Award acknowledges and celebrates women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, ethical conduct and make significant contributions to their respective industries while addressing global or local issues affecting women and girls or climate justice.  Up to 10 international Awards of $10,000 each are given out by Zonta International.

The first step is to apply at the local level (Zonta Club of NYC).  Guidelines and Application form can be found HERE.
